The reformulation of an urban boundary in a living meeting core. In the square of Agia Varvara in Tripoli, KPM redesigned an existing triangular common area, creating a modern, sustainable and clean environment. In close collaboration with the Department of Architectural Planning of the Municipality, a comprehensive intervention was implemented with clean geometries and absolute functionality.

The project began with the sanitization of the space through removals and removals, giving way to modern, durable coatings and special concretes. The bioclimatic upgrade and the improvement of the microclimate were the central axis of the proposal, with the integration of new planting zones and the installation of a modern fountain that offers natural cooling. At the same time, the new design of the lighting network highlights the architectural layouts during the evening hours. A project with a clear purpose, oriented to the future, that upgrades the daily experience of the city.
